Magyarosaurus is a dwarf sauropod from Europe, about 85-65 million years ago. It appears in the Episode “The Great Survivors” and is mentioned to be a fraction of the size of it’s relative, Ampelosaurus and weighs much, much, much less than it's cousin, Argentinosaurus. Magyarosaurus, along with other plant-eaters like Telmatosaurus and Zalmoxes roamed Europe. Magyarosaurus is the main food source for Hatzegopteryx. It also lives along side the Alvarezsaur, Bradycneme. Magyarosaurus weighed about 2,200 pounds, or 1 tonne. The reason that Magyrosaurus was so small compared to other sauropods was because of insular dwarfism, in which organisms that evolve on an island eventually become smaller than their mainland cousins.
